Biography

2020: Started six times and played in nine games … drew five walks, tied for fourth on the team.

2019: Led the team with 10 home runs … drove in 27 runs and scored 28 … started 45 games, splitting time between first base and the outfield … blasted a three-run home run in the eighth inning of SoCon Tournament game vs. Wofford on 5/22 … one of two Keydets (Loyd) to have a pair of hits in the same inning at Longwood 4/30, starting the third off with a HR … hit a two-run dinger in the bottom of the ninth vs. Richmond on 4/16 to force extra innings in an 11-inning victory … delivered a double and a home run in VMI’s 6-0 win over ETSU on April 7 … hit his third home run of the season, a two-run bomb, 3/22 at The Citadel … mashed two home runs and two doubles against Lehigh on 3/16, ended 5-5 with five runs scored and six RBI.

2018: Limited to 11 games as a sophomore...went 2-14 (.143) with a run scored...started games 2/23 and 3/18...scored a run and had a single 3/16 at George Washington...had a hit 5/17 at Samford.

2017: Played in 18 games as a true freshman...hit .194 with a homer and three RBI...one day after striking out to end the game 5/19, made his first start since 5/2 in regular season finale and went 1 for 3 with a double...2 for 2 with a walk in series opener at Western Carolina 4/21...hit his first career home run in series finale at Wofford 4/9...went 6 for 12 in three-game span 4/2-4/5...was 3 for 5 with two RBI and two runs scored 4/5 vs. ODU, had his first career extra-base hit in that game...got the start in LF?in place of an injured M. Pita 3/22 at William &?Mary...went 0 for 2 in collegiate debut Feb. 18 vs. Appalachian State.

Summer 2017: Played with the Hoptown Hoppers of the Ohio Valley League.

High School/Personal: Ranked as the #2 1B and #25 player overall in the state of Tennessee by Prep Baseball Report during his junior season...#3 first baseman in Tennessee according to Perfect Game...also played on the Royals-Mets Scout Team for Knights Baseball...lettered four years in basketball as well...intends to major in economics and business.
