2015: Went just 2 for 7 on the year as his struggles with injuries continued...missed nearly two months, as he did not appear from 2/15 until 4/26...made his only start of the year May 15 against JMU and went 1 for 4 with a RBI...launched a pinch-hit home run May 15 against Western Carolina for his first career long ball.
2014: Season was highlighted by diving catch in left field to end April 2 win over VCU...appeared in 27 games, starting eight...went 4 for 31 at the plate...was 2 for 3 with a run scored in Feb. 23 win over Lafayette...stole two bases on the year.
2013: Appeared in just six games with two at-bats due to injury...did not record a hit...redshirted the season.
2012: Hit .245 as a true freshman...played in 41 games, starting 28 at DH and the various OF positions...had eight doubles on the year, the fourth-most for VMI...made his first collegiate start at South Carolina 2/18...recorded his first hit against Hartford March 3...had game-winning hit in the finale of that day's doubleheader, a pinch-hit single in the seventh...went 5 for 13 with five RBI in three-game set with Youngstown State, also notching three doubles (3/9-3/11)...went 2 for 6 March 13 at Old Dominion...went 6 for 11 in three-game series against Presbyterian College, including 3 for 5 with two doubles in opener...was 3 for 4 April 1 at High Point, part of a 4 for 10 effort in a series that saw him lead the team in batting average.
High School/Personal: Hit .543 as a senior, scoring 52 runs and stealing 33 bases…also was First Team All-State for the second straight year, along with earning All-Conference and District honors…hit nine home runs and drove in 42…As a junior, hit .400 with 27 stolen bases, showed power as well by hitting 10 home runs…was All-Conference and All-Tournament as a junior as well…also pitched in 2010, going 6-1 with a 1.70 ERA…member of the National Honor Society...son of April and Gary LeClair.
