with a .293 average and 17 RBI while seeing action in 37 contests...In
limited action, posted the third-highest slugging percentage on the
team, and the highest among 2008 returners...Came up with a pinch-hit
double in the 9th inning against Coastal Carolina in the Big South
Championship (5/24)...Hit his third career HR to extend the lead in a
5-3 win over UNCA in game three (4/29), going 2-for-4 with two runs
scored and nine putouts in CF...Hit his second home run of the season
in game one against #20 Coastal (4/20), also collecting a double in the
7-5 loss...Saw his six-game hitting streak end in game two against High
Point; during the run, he hit 10-for-22 (.455) with eight RBI, two 2B,
3B, and a HR...Collected RBI singles against #3 Virginia (4/3) and
Virginia Tech (4/4), breaking up a no-hitter in the fifth inning
against the Hokies...In first three career starts, went 7-for-11 with
five RBI against Savannah State, hitting .636, slugging 1.273 and
reaching base at .692...Went 4-for-5 with three RBI, a double and a
triple in game two against SSU (3/31), then went 2-for-4 with first

the RCBL with a .383 batting average, .628 slugging percentage, 23 RBI,
19 runs, 36 hits, nine doubles and four home runs.

Four-year letterwinner in the outfield at Rockbridge County...Hit .434
with 12 home runs and 45 RBI...Named first team All-District as a
utility player and second team All-District as an outfielder...Named to
