LEXINGTON, Va. –The VMI baseball team's contest Friday with Norfolk State University has been moved up from 5 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. due to potential inclement weather. The game is part of a three-game non-conference series from Gray-Minor Stadium against the Spartans, with 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday starts slated.
Last Time:
VMI scored three runs in the seventh inning to tie the game Wednesday, but James Madison University rallied late for a 9-3 win in non-conference play in Lexington.
Justin Starke delivered a two-run single and
Trey Morgan started for VMI on the hill and allowed just one earned run over five innings.
