This is VMI Women's Soccer:

The VMI women's soccer program will enter the 2013 season with a young team, featuring no seniors on the 17-player roster. The Keydets open their regular season August 23 at USC Upstate, and will face teams such as Saint Peter’s and East Tennessee State before opening conference play Sept. 25 at High Point.

In addition to two years with victories in the Big South Championship and a 10-win season in 2008, the Keydet program has been strong academically and militarily under current head coach Bryan Williams.

Audrey Falconi '10 was the 2010 winner of the Three-Legged Stool, the VMI Keydet Club's award given to the senior class cadet who best exemplifies the three pillars of a VMI life (athletics, academics and military). She also was the 2010 Big South Women's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year, and was tabbed for a Big South Conference Postgraduate Fellowship in the spring of 2009. Simone Jimenez ’13 was named to the Big South All-Academic Team three consecutive seasons as well.

Several Keydet players have also taken prominent military commissioning opportunities, including Celine Ziobro '09, who was the third Keydet player offered a prominent Air Force pilot training slot. With the three pillars of a cadet's life fully intact in the VMI women's soccer program, the future looks bright for the Keydets as the team progresses into the 2013 season.
