The VMI women's soccer program has announced its 2010 spring schedule, one that includes match-ups against several of the state's toughest opponents, as well as the program's Fifth Annual Spring Skills Clinic, to be held Saturday, April 24th at Patchin Field.

The Keydets kick off their spring on Sunday, March 7th, taking on VCU at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond.  The contest is set for a 2 p.m. start, and directions to the facility can be found below.  Other dates for the team include matches at Radford (March 24th), Longwood (April 13), a 7-a-side tournament at Radford (April 17) and a round-robin tournament at Lynchburg College with Liberty (April 23).

The clinic will then be held the next day back in Lexington.  The annual event is free to all girls that pre-register and will cost $10 to those registering on the day of the event.  All participants will receive T-shirts commemorating the clinic.

1.Take Interstate 64 East to Richmond
2.Stay on Interstate 64 East as it joins Interstate 95 South.
3.Take Exit #78 off of I-95.
4.Make a right onto the Boulevard
5.The Sports Backers Stadium entrance is on the left just after the stop light and the entrance to the Diamond.  Sports Backers Stadium is 100 yards straight ahead.

ARRIVING FROM I-95 HEADING SOUTH AND I-64 HEADING EAST (FROM FREDERICKSBURG/CHARLOTTESVILLE)
1.Take Exit #78 off of I-95.
2.Make a right onto the Boulevard.
3.The Sports Backers Stadium entrance is on the left just after the stop light and the entrance to the Diamond.  Sports Backers Stadium is 100 yards straight ahead.

ARRIVING FROM I-95 HEADING NORTH AND I-64 HEADING WEST (FROM NORFOLK/WILLIAMSBURG/PETERSBURG)
1.Take Exit #78 off of I-95 and make a left at the bottom of the exit ramp.
2.Take a right at the first traffic light onto Robin Hood Road.
3.Take a left at the next traffic light onto the Boulevard.
