DANBURY, Conn. - 40 VMI cadet-athletes were recognized for academic excellence during the spring term by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), according to information released recently by the league.

22 Keydet athletes, including three-legged stool recipient McKenzie Raber (women's swimming) and MLB draft selection Josh Winder, were named to the ECAC's President's Honor Roll. In order to make that squad, student-athletes must carry a GPA of 3.6 or better for the term in question.

Another 18 Keydets, including basketball's Tyler Creammer and two-sport athlete Natalie Rivas, were named to the league's Academic Honor Roll, which requires at least a 3.2 GPA for the term.
