Keydets Host Presbyterian Tonight at Cameron Hall

LEXINGTON, Va. - VMI enters the first weekend of the 2019-20 season with a pair of non-conference home games at Cameron Hall. The Keydets will face Presbyterian College on Monday night at 7 p.m. to wrap up a busy first weekend of the season having played three games over a six-game span.

Tonight's contest with Presbyterian will be shown on ESPN+.

Last Meeting with Presbyterian 

The Presbyterian Blue Hose poured in 18 three-pointers and shot 62.7% from the floor in posting a 103-70 win over VMI on Dec. 12, 2018 at the Templeton Center in Clinton, South Carolina. PC guard JC Younger led the Blue Hose with 30 points and hit 9 of 11 shots from beyond the arc to tie a PC school Division I record. VMI was led in scoring by guard Bubba Parham with 25 points and Garrett Gilkeson (14) and Tyler Creammer (12) also reached double figures scoring.  

A win over Presbyterian would:

VMI vs. Presbyterian College - This will be 18th meeting between the schools that were once conference rivals in the Big South Conference from 2008-2014. It will also be the fifth consecutive season the teams have faced each other in a non-conference setting. VMI leads the over head-to-head 10-7 and the teams have split the last four meetings.
