Men’s Soccer Competes in Philadelphia Wednesday
LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men’s soccer team will travel to Philadelphia Wednesday to square off with Saint Joseph’s University in a non-conference tilt at 7 p.m.

About the Hawks: Manhattan College scored two second-half goals Saturday to defeat Saint Joseph’s 2-0.
For the season, the Hawks are 4-3, the loss to Mahattan broke a two-game winning streak. Alvin Dahn leads the team with three goals and four assists and Leon Maric has a team-high four scores. Ritchie Barry has totaled two goals and two assists. St. Joseph’s has 14 goals and 11 assists in seven matches.
Joseph Boehm has played every minute in net for the Hawks, boasting a 1.43 goals-against average and a .714 save percentage.
About the Keydets: VMI (0-6) had its scheduled game Saturday at Gardner-Webb University postponed due to Hurricane Florence. No make-up date has yet been set.
VMI has two more road games slated before returning home to face Regent University Tuesday, October 2. The Keydets have eight games on the schedule in October, four at home on Patchin Field.
Last year: VMI and Saint Joseph's fought to a 0-0 double overtime tie last September in Lexington.
