Wrestling Travels to New York this Weekend

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team travels to New York this weekend for three non-conference dual matches. The Keydets square off with Columbia University Saturday in New York City, and make the short trek Sunday to Hofstra University on Long Island for matches against Hofstra and Northern Colorado University.

The Keydets are coming off a very successful weekend with dual match victories over Sacred Heart University (20-19) and Davidson College (29-13) in their Southern Conference opener. Four Keydets, Hunter Starner (133), Dominick Gallo (141), Neal Richards (174) and Chris Beck (197), won both of their matches.
