LEXINGTON, Va. - Following excellent performances last week at the Colonial Relays, the VMI track and field teams split this weekend to compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and the Gamecock Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
Expected to compete at South Carolina are primarily sprinters in Andrew Arlint, Blaine Ashton, Chris Ferrill, James Granderson, Jonathan Gray, Griffin Kowal, Caleb Minus, Jordin Poindexter, Johnnie Walker, Daniel Walsh, Eliza Brooks, McKenna Dunn, Ingrid Joseph, Autumn Parson, Ariana Ruffin, Nia Vaughan and Ahliyah Williams.
Those traveling to the Bucknell meet include distance runners Justin Adams, Carlos Fernandes, Jeremiah Gaulding, Dylan Haines, Gavin Jenkins, Andre Jordan, Walt Kitson, Zach Lauster, Kellen Reeves, Kyle Sabourin, Jahanzib Shahbaz, Adam Waite and thrower Daniel Usher. On the women's side will be distance runners Anna Armfield, Sara Belamarich, Julianne Knoblett, Logan Luckett and throwers Sydney Hays, Sarah Leckman and Tiffany Quick.
