Multiple Keydets Move on to Finals at IC4A/ECAC Meet

BOSTON, Mass. - Three Keydets and a relay team qualified to Sunday's finals pacing the VMI track and field teams on day two at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, contested Saturday in Boston, Mass.

Greg Henderson continued his strong season by advancing in both the 60 and 200-meter dashes, moving on as the final qualifier in both. Henderson crossed the line in 6.92 in the 60 and 21.87 in the 200. He will race for titles in both on Sunday, as will Kerisha Goode and Yaa Agyepong-Wiafe. Agyepong-Wiafe moved on as the #4 qualifier in the ECAC 60-meter hurdles, timing in at 8.60, while Goode moved on by thousandths of a second as the final qualifier in the ECAC 60-meter dash. She crossed the line in 7.68 seconds to do so.

The men's distance medley relay also advanced to Sunday's final, as Luke Phillips, Kevin Bishop, Luke Lysher and Jay Broom timed in at 9:56.97 to move on.

Other results included Goode finishing 23rd in the ECAC 200 (25.01), Mia McClain placing 23rd in the ECAC 60 (7.78) and Bria Anderson finishing one spot behind her (7.79). Anderson was also 16th in the ECAC long jump (5.27 M/17'3 1/2") and the foursome of Bethany King, Julianne Knoblett, Christina Hill and Logan Luckett were 17th in the ECAC 4X8 (9:24.60).
