NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - The VMI swimming and diving teams posted three top-11 finishes on the final day of the ECAC Championships, contested Sunday in New Brunswick, N.J.
The VMI men finished 11th in the 400 free relay, with Brady Gannon, John Kim, Jacob Smilie and Ryan Schmitz touching the wall in 3:10.10. Kim earlier in the meet had finished 11th in the 200 back in 1:52.56.
On the women's side, the top-10 finish came in the 400 free relay where McKenzie Raber, Morgan Davis, Calle Biles and AnnaMaria Neitte-Garcia recorded a 3:44.29 time.
Other results included Bret Tomajczyk finishing 19th in the 200 breast, Schmitz placing 28th in the 100 free (47.11) and Gannon 29th in the 100 free (47.16).
Sunday's action concluded the 2017-18 season for VMI swimming and diving.
