Keydet Men’s Soccer Hosts Howard Saturday
LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men’s soccer team, in the midst of a three-game home stand, welcomes Howard University to Patchin Field Saturday at noon for a non-conference game.

The Keydets look to close out September with a victory, after several close losses thus far. VMI has lost two of its last three games by one goal, with sophomore keeper Broden Schull making 26 saves over that span. He leads the Southern Conference for saves this season (54) and for his career (175).
Howard (1-5-1) dropped a tight 1-0 game at home against LaSalle. Goalkeeper Emery Simon made eight stops.
The two teams fought to a 0-0 double overtime tie last season in Washington, D.C., Schull posted the first shutout of his career, keeping the Bison scoreless for all 110 minutes with eight saves.
