2010: Saw his role change somewhat with the emergence of Stephen Robarge...still saw a great deal of action, playing in 13 games on the year...was 18 for 36 at the faceoff X...had 25 groundballs, nine of which came in a two-game stretch against Presbyterian and Robert Morris...was three for four at the X against Army...notched perfect two for two performances in faceoffs versus both Navy and Jacksonville.

2009: Was part of VMI's two-man rotation at the faceoff X, teaming with fellow freshman Stephen Robarge to create a duo with a great deal of potential...won 44% of his faceoffs, but in three best '09 performances (Presbyterian, Manhattan and Mount St. Mary's), captured 67% of his duels at the X...tied for the team lead in groundballs with 38...notched first collegiate point Mar. 7 versus Robert Morris, as he assisted on a goal.

High School/Personal: Four-year letterwinner at Heritage HS...named All-District and All-Region following the 2007 and 2008 seasons...holds all face-off and groundball records at Heritage...played on NoVa West Crusaders Summer LAX team...has been a member of POLA (Potomac Area Lacrosse Officials) the past three season...coached for Western Loudoun Lacrosse, a youth program, for a pair of seasons...made honor roll all eight semesters of high school...intends to major in Economics and Business at VMI...full name is Christopher Andrew Rossie...son of Douglas and Aurora Rossie.
