VMI head coach Dr. Drew Ludtke commentary:

“When combining all the races, the men were 38th out of 133 teams today. The men were able to see the best competition in the country and we chose to race in the toughest possible division. We were able to build confidence going into the SoCon meet in four weeks.

“This team has been showing progress the past few weeks and they are excited to see what they can do in the next two meets. I am looking forward to watching them race!

When combining the races, our women’s team was 93rd out of 129. We really ran well up front with Luckett leading. Belamarich, Washington and Rice are beginning to see some improvement to round out the top five. We made steps to bring our 3rd, 4th, and 5th runners closer to our top runners. I was happy to see the ladies gain valuable experience today!
