STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The VMI women’s water polo team split a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matches Saturday at Wagner College.

#15 Wagner 19, VMI 6

#15th-ranked Wagner scored the game’s first four goals, led 6-2 in the mid-second, and then went ahead 10-2 and controlled the rest of the game. Senior Sarah Dolitsky had two goals and two assists for the Keydets. Genevieve Petrassi, Zoe Salafatinos, Makenna Moore and McKenna Imset each scored for VMI. Isabel French made eight saves and had two steals.
Daisy Nankervis recorded six goals and an assist for Wagner. 

VMI 8, Villanova 7

The Keydets opened a late 8-5 lead and hung on for the conference win. French made 12 saves.

Dolitsky had a hat trick and Emma Perez had two goals. Imset posted a goal and an assist and Moore and Petrassi also scored. Kiara Anguiano handed out two assists.
