VMI Goes Unbeaten at Macalester Invite

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The VMI women’s water polo team won both of its contests Sunday at the Macalester College Invitational to go 5-0 for the weekend. 

VMI 9, Macalester 6

Senior Sarah Dolitsky netted three goals for VMI, while Makenna Moore had two.  Kiara Anguiano, Genevieve Petrassi, Zoe Salafatinos and Emma Perez each scored once.

Isabel French made 10 stops.

VMI 16, Redlands 15 (OT)

McKenna Imset, Noble and Dolitsky each scored in the overtime period as the Keydets outscored Redlands 3-2 in the extra time. Dolitsky had six goals, Imset had two and Caroline Wojtas, Perez and Emma Noble each had two.

French made 14 stops, including two in overtime.

The Keydets (8-2) travel to the west coast next weekend to compete in four matches at the Claremont Convergence.
