VMI Baseball Rally Falls Just Short vs. JMU
LEXINGTON, Va. – Trailing 9-3 heading into the ninth inning Wednesday night, the VMI baseball team almost came the whole way back, but James Madison University held on for a 9-8 victory in non-conference play.

Cody Warner walked to load the bases and Don Goodes drew a walk as well to cut the score to 9-5. The Dukes recorded two outs, but the Keydet scoring continued on a Nathan Loyd base on balls.
