VMI enters as a No. 10 seed while the Mocs earned a No. 7 seed going into the tourney.
The winner will advance to the second round to face No. 2 seed UNCG on Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Date/Time: Wednesday, Oct. 24 | 6 p.m.
Location: Chattanogga, Tenn. | Finley Stadium
The two clubs battled to a 2-2 draw Sunday in a high-scoring first half. The Keydets' Amber Levy scored just 24 seconds into the match before Kiley Cropper added another VMI goal 10 minutes later to give the Keydets a quick 2-0 lead to start the game.
The Mocs were unfazed, however, as Chattanooga added two first-half goals of their own just 10 and 15 minutes after Cropper's goal to knot the score. Despite physical play in the second half, neither squad could notch another goal as the teams settled for the tie.
