Last Time Out - at The Citadel (2/17/2018):

Looking for some momentum with the league tournament two weeks away, the VMI basketball team held on to defeat rival The Citadel by a 75-71 score Saturday afternoon at McAlister Field House in Charleston, South Carolina. With the win, the Keydets (8-18, 3-12) earned a season sweep over the Bulldogs (9-18, 4-11) for the first time since the 2014-15 season. The Keydets were led by Bubba Parham, who came one point shy of his career high with 25 points on 8-18 shooting from the field and converted eight of 10 free throws. Fellow freshman Myles Lewis also came up big by scoring 11 points as he went a perfect 5-5 from the field in 14 minutes of play.

Last Meeting with Furman (12/30/2017):

The Furman Paladins broke the game open with a 29-0 first half run and went on to shoot over 50 percent from the field in an 87-57 win over the VMI Keydets Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at Cameron Hall in Lexington, Va. The game was the SoCon opener for both teams. The Keydets were led in defeat by Bubba Parham, who had 21 points, as well as Austin Vereen's 12 markers.

A VMI win against Furman would:

Give VMI back to back SoCon road wins for the first time since Feb. 2015 (Citadel/WCU).

Give the Keydets four road wins for the first time since 2014-15.
