BOSTON, Mass. - Kerisha Goode finished fourth in the 200-meters, while the women's distance medley relay set a school record for the second straight meet as VMI track and field wrapped up action at the final day of the ECAC Championships, contested Sunday in Boston, Mass.

Goode crossed the line in 24.32 seconds in the finals of the 200, and wound up finishing fourth. It was her best finish ever at the ECAC Championships. The DMR, meanwhile, timed in at 11:52.80 for a new school record time and the fastest time in the conference this season. Logan Luckett (3:39), Ariana Ruffin (57.0), Christina Hill (2:16) and Bethany King (4:59) wound up 14th and became the first DMR in school history to break 12 minutes.

As a team, the Keydets were credited with 5.25 points, edging out schools such as Binghamton, Vermont and Bucknell in the team scoring.

"We had some great moments this weekend," said VMI head coach Darrin Webb. "It was great to see Kerisha Goode wrap up an outstanding indoor season with a top-five finish, and the women's DMR squad has really come on late in this indoor season. I look forward to seeing what our athletes can accomplish outdoors, beginning in less than two weeks!"

The meet wrapped up VMI's indoor season. The outdoor campaign will begin March 15 in Charlotte, N.C. at the Charlotte 49er Classic.
