LEWISBURG, Pa. - Greg Henderson won the men's 100-meters and Kerisha Goode was second in the women's 100, leading the VMI track and field teams on the final day of the Bison Outdoor Classic, contested Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa.

Henderson won the 100 in 10.86 seconds to capture his first collegiate victory in an outdoor regular season 100-meter race. He also finished eighth in the 200, timing in at 22.26. On the women's side, Goode followed up her strong efforts last weekend at George Mason by crossing the stripe in 12.27 in the 100 for a second-place finish. She was also 12th in the 200 (25.63).

Lee Warren overcame a windy day to finish fifth in the 110 hurdles (14.98). Other results included Mia McClain finishing 14th in the women's 200 (25.79) and the men's 4X800-meter relay - Jay Broom, Luke Phillips, Kyle Sabourin and Micah Ellington - finished third in 7:51.55.

"I'm pleased with the efforts of our team this weekend," said VMI head coach Darrin Webb. "It was a quality weekend for our athletes, and we continue to post personal bests and make progress toward the championship seasons."
