Matt Pita was tabbed for another weekly award Monday afternoon, as he followed up his SoCon POTW honor by being named one of Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week.

Pita hit .550 over four games this past week, by going 11 for 20 with three homers and 10 RBIs. He scored nine runs and stole four bases, including three in a 5 for 6, two homer, four RBI game Sunday against Oakland.

Pita's honor extends VMI's streak of having at least one National Player of the Week to five straight seasons.
