Last Time Out - at Furman (2/20/2018):

A 17-0 Furman run midway in the first half helped erase a VMI lead and sparked the Paladins to a 76-54 win over the Keydets on Senior Night at Timmons Arena on Feb. 20. Furman, winners of four straight, placed four in double figures scoring and was led by sophomore guard Andrew Brown who connected on five of six shots for 15 points. Senior forward Andrew Fowler and sophomore guard Jordan Lyons added 12 points each for the Paladins (20-9, 11-5 in SoCon). Jordan Ratliffe led VMI with 10 points.

Last Meeting with Samford (1/29/2018):

Sophomore guard Triston Chambers knocked down eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 34 points as Samford snapped a five- game skid defeating VMI, 93-79, Monday night - January 29 - in Southern Conference basketball action at Pete Hanna Center. Junior forward Austin Vereen and freshman guard Bubba Parham paced VMI with 18 points each while freshman guard Jordan Ratliffe equaled his career-high with 14 points.

Last Meeting with Chattanooga (1/27/2018):

Junior forward Austin Vereen’s lay-in off a backdoor feed from freshman guard Bubba Parham with six seconds left gave VMI a 70-69 victory over Chattanooga in SoCon basketball action Saturday night - January 27 - at The McKenzie Center. VMI won for the second consecutive year at Chattanooga and was led by Parham’s 26 points and seven assists – both career-highs - along with a career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore guard Garrett Gilkeson who also posted his first career double-double.

A VMI win against Samford would: Snap a six-game skid against the Bulldogs.
A VMI win against Chattanooga would: Mark the first time VMI has ever defeated the Mocs twice in the same regular season.
