Keydets Place Fourth in VaSID Women's Sports Standings

NORFOLK, Va. - VMI women's sports finished fourth in the Virginia Sports Information Directors' Association (VaSID) Division I All-Sport Championship, according to information released Wednesday morning. The standings were determined by winning percentage, and only sports that involved the tabulation of wins and losses were included.

The Keydet women's programs, led by water polo's 22-8 record, finished with a 47-40 mark overall (.540). Rifle also finished over .500 at 14-12, helping the VMI women finish with a better percentage than programs including VCU (.514), Virginia (.507), Virginia Tech (.489), Old Dominion (.477), Richmond (.476) and William & Mary (.467).

James Madison won the overall VaSID All-Sports title - a combined percentage of men's and women's sports' winning percentages - behind its 72.1% winning percentage in women's sports. Virginia had the top percentage on the men's side, winning 69.8% of its contests.
