Jewell’s ERA is 3.00 and has struck out 24 batters in 21 innings. Kent struck out 13 batters in his last outing against Binghamton and has 31 strikeouts in his 23 2/3 innings. Batters have hit only .214 vs. Menders, .203 against Jewell and .207 vs. Kent.
The young Keydets have a 3-13 record on the season, but have dropped four one-run games (including the last two) and three two-run contests.
