Zach Fischer enters his first season as VMI's Coordinator of Athletic Multimedia after being hired in July of 2018.
Fischer comes to the Institute after working the last 11 months for a television, film, and commercial post-production company in New York City. He graduated from Temple University in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies and Production. At Temple he was part of OWLSports Update, a weekly live television show covering all of Temple University athletics. With OWLSports Update he served as a reporter, videographer, editor and production assistant. Through all these roles he gained a multitude of experience in live TV production while creating feature video content for use on air and on social media.
While at Temple, Fischer also covered the 2017 American Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament in Hartford, Connecticut. He also served as a photographer for the Temple News, the weekly student newspaper.
He also serves as web designer and content creator for Pam Fischer Consulting, a role he has had since May of 2015. In this role he creates and updates the website for all projects and media coverage. He also creates video and graphic design content for use at various events such as major conferences and on social media.
Fischer is a native of Long Valley, New Jersey.
