Sheppard begins his second season of offensive coordinator/QB duties...served in the same capacity at Northern Arizona University in 2017...was instrumental in the installation of the "Air Raid" offense in 2018...guided sophomore Reece Udinski in a record-breaking season throwing for 3,082 yards and also establishing new school marks in completions (302), attempts (523), total plays (570) and equaling the season mark for touchdown passes (20)...helped lead the NAU Lumberjack offense to a 2017 FCS playoff berth and mentored NAU quarterback Case Cookus who threw for 3,413 yards and 22 touchdowns while the offense averaged 30.2 points per game...also served as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Indiana State from 2013 through 2016 and was also named assistant head coach for the 2015 and 2016 seasons...helped turn around a team that went 1-11 in 2013 to an 8-6 mark in 2014 - the best turnaround in college football that season - and aided the Sycamores program in attaining its first playoff appearance and win in over 30 years...coaching resume also includes stops at Willamette University, Alderson-Broaddus, West Virginia Wesleyan, UCLA, New Mexico State, and Tulsa...played quarterback at Saddleback Junior College (Calif.), Southeastern Louisiana University, and Baker University (Kansas) where he graduated in 2006.
