Last Time Out - vs. Western Carolina (2/8/2018):

After dropping the last two conference games the VMI basketball team looked to get back in the win column but fell short in a 72-60 loss to visiting Western Carolina Thursday night at Cameron Hall. VMI was led by junior Austin Vereen and freshman Jordan Ratliffe as both scored 13 points while Parham finished with 12 points. The Catamounts were led by Deriece Parks’ 16 points  while Matt Halvorsen and Marcus Thomas provided 14 and 13 points, respectively, coming off the bench.

Last Meeting with ETSU (1/13/2018):

ETSU placed four players in double figures scoring as the Bucs downed VMI, 89-48, in Southern Conference men’s college basketball action Saturday afternoon - January 13 - before 4,218 spectators at Freedom Hall. Seniors Devontavius Payne and David Burrell each scored 17 points to lead ETSU and freshman guard Bo Hodges added 16 for the host team. VMI was topped in scoring by freshman guard Bubba Parham with 16 points and junior forward Austin Vereen added 10 points and seven rebounds.

A VMI win against ETSU would:

Snap a five-game skid against the Bucs and end the SoCon’s second-longest winning streak in the last 10 years.
