CENTERVILLE, Mass. - VMI outfielder Rob Dickinson has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division I Baseball Player of the Week, according to information released Tuesday afternoon.
Dickinson comes off a week in which he hit .500 with two home runs and six extra-base hits, leading to 21 total bases and his second career Big South Player of the Week award. He becomes just the third VMI player to earn ECAC honors, and the first since Sam Roberts did so April 19, 2011.
Dickinson and the Keydets return to action Tuesday, facing Virginia Tech at 5:30 p.m. in Blacksburg.
