First Baseball Memory/How You Got Involved in the Sport:
As a little kid watching the Braves on TV every night

Best Athletic Memory:
My first college win.  It was cold and rainy, playing against Maryland in College Park. The game was close and ended up going into extra innings.  I got the call in the 10th inning and went in, holding Maryland off until we won in the 11th.

Why VMI:
I was always interested in going to VMI, but as I grew older I met a few VMI alums and by seeing them interact together and their passion for where they came from, it was something I wanted to be a part of.  When my senior year in high school rolled around VMI was one of my top choices, but Coach Ikenberry gave me a call and offered me a spot on the team as an added bonus.

Favorite VMI memory:
Ring Figure

Goals for the upcoming season:
Without a doubt to win a Big South Championship.  We have been working harder than we ever have in the last 4 years I've been here. We're deep in every position, and all have confidence in each other.  We've got some of the toughest guys in our locker room and we're not just ready to compete, we're ready to win.

Favorite movie/book and why:
Beyond Belief, a biography on Josh Hamilton

When you have an hour of free time, you like to...:
Play golf or go to the beach

What sporting venue would you most like to visit?
Augusta National during The Masters

When surfing the Internet, what web site do you visit most frequently?
ESPN.com, Twitter or Yahoo Finance

Favorite sport to watch (other than baseball):
Football (NFL)

Favorite sports moment as a fan:
This past fall, sitting behind home plate at a Washington Nationals game.

If someone would look at the songs I have, on my IPOD or computer, I'd be embarrassed for them to see I have this song:
MMMBop - Hanson

If you could eat dinner with three other people, living or not, who would they be and why?
Chipper Jones; he's been my baseball idle since I was a kid.   Si Robertson; I know he's got more ridiculous stories than just the one's he tells on Duck Dynasty.  My parents; I love being home and spending time with the two most important people in my life.
