THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN/ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS MAJOR

The 2012-13 Big South Preseason Player of the Year…a versatile performer who should shine his senior year…has put up big numbers each season…tough around the basket and possesses a soft shooting touch…holds the position of Vice-President on the VMI Honor Court - one of the most respected duties in the Corps…Big South Presidential Honor Roll recipient…one of two winners of the Keydet Club’s Three-Legged Stool award...Economics and Business major.

2011-12: Named 2011-12 All-Big South second team…led team in rebounding (7.2 ) and was second in scoring (17.1)…had twelve 20-point games on the season and six double-doubles… led or co-led VMI in scoring 11 times and led or co-led VMI in rebounding 19 times…In overall games, ranked third in the BSC in scoring (17.1), 9th in rebounding (7.2), 3rd in FG pct. (.519), and 7th in steals (1.5), 12th in blocks (.78), and 4th in defensive rebounds (5.1)…Ranked second in the BSC in league games in scoring (19.5), 4th in rebounding (8.2), 3rd in FG pct. (.543), and 4th in defensive rebounds (5.8)…scored a season-high 27 points against PC Dec. 31 and pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds at Campbell Jan. 21…blocked 3 shots and had a career-high 7 assists against GWU Jan. 2…hit 11 of 16 shots against HPU Jan. 19…his dunk against Ohio St. selected as ESPN No.1 Top Ten Play Nov. 23… scored in double figures in 28 games including 19 straight.

2010-11: In overall games, ranked fifth in the conference in scoring and was first in FG%, third in rebounding, 13th in FT%, 12th in blocks, fourth on offensive rebounds, and third in defensive rebounds…in conference games, ranked fifth in scoring, fifth in FG%, ninth in rebounding, 11th in FT%, 11th in blocks, 12th in offensive rebounds and seventh in defensive rebounds… posted eight double-doubles last year…scored in double-figures in 25 games last season including a string of 13 straight…scored a career-high 30 points against Presbyterian College 12/4…hit 10 of 16 shots and scored 27 points at Gardner-Webb Jan. 2…grabbed eight or more rebounds in 16 games last year…racked up 15 rebounds at Marshall Dec. 19…dished out five assists against both Morgan State and Longwood…made five steals at High Point Jan. 15. 

2009-10:
Named to the Big South All-Freshman Team…in BSC games, ranked fourth in FG pct. (.510), fourth in blocked shots (1.94), sixth in scoring (14.6), tied-sixth in rebounding (7.2)…in all games, ranked third in FG% (.522), sixth in blocks (1.52), eighth in offensive rebounding, ninth in scoring (14.2) and 10th in rebounding (6.6)…had six double-doubles with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds…named BSC Freshman of the Week three times (Jan. 18, Jan. 25, Feb. 15)…had a 5-game stretch in January where he averaged 22.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, shot 61% in FG%, hit 5 of 9 3-pointers and averaged 3.0 blocks…scored a season-high 26 points at GWU and CSU...led all league freshmen in scoring and FG% in overall games and in BSC games he led all frosh in scoring, FG%, and blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman who helped lead Knightdale to 73 varsity wins over his career…Knightdale captured the Greater Neuse River Conference championship during his sophomore and junior seasons…was a two-time GNRC All-Conference (2006 and 2008) selection and was also tabbed North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association All-Region (Region 5) in 2008-09…completed his career with over 1,300 points, becoming only the second Knightdale player to surpass the mark…was invited to play in the North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game in Greensboro following his senior season.
