Named the head student manager as a senior, Howard trained student managers and served as a liaison between the managers and the head equipment manager.

During the summer of 2016 Howard served as an athletics and marketing intern for Historic Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Florida, facilitating tournaments including the MLB’s Elite Developmental Invitational Camp.

The prior summer of 2015 he served as a summer intern for the Chillicothe Paints Baseball Club in Chillicothe, Ohio, composing ticket packages, executing operational tasks and managing the team store during the game.
