Note: Due to excessive rainfall in the Birmingham area, Sunday's game with Samford has been pushed back to a 4:30 ET start time.
VMI women's soccer will return to action Friday, when the Keydets take on the Mocs of Chattanooga in a road matchup at 7 p.m. VMI then travels to Birmingham, Ala. to take on the Samford Bulldogs in a match that, in a time change, will kick off at 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. Birmingham time).
How to Follow
Both games will include live stats and free video on the SoCon Digital Network.
The Keydets come off a 1-0 win over ETSU this past Sunday and have given up just one goal over their past three matches, going 1-0-1 in that span.
With her game-winning PK in the ETSU match, Amy Horney became one of only five players in program history to succesfully convert multiple penalty kicks.
VMI has had trouble with Samford over its time in the SoCon. The regular conference favorite has held the Keydets without a goal in five previous matches.
The Keydets, however, enter Friday's match with a four-match unbeaten streak against UTC, as VMI has gone 3-0-1 against the Mocs since joining the conference for the 2014 season.
Next Time Out
Following these contests, the Keydets are next in action Oct. 15, taking on the UNCG Spartans in a road match in Greensboro. Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.
