James Granderson at TFRRS
2016-17: Competed in every regular season meet as a true freshman...outdoor season saw a pair of top-eight finishes, including the long jump at George Mason, where he posted a collegiate best effort of 6.62 M/21'8 3/4"...also finished fourth in the 110 hurdles at Liberty...competed in the 200 for the first time collegiately at that meet as well and finished 26th...indoors, finished seventh in the 60 hurdles and 14th in the long jump at Virginia Tech...was second in the long jump, third in the high jump and fifth in the hurdles in dual vs. The Citadel.
High School/Personal: Finished 17th in the 110-hurdles at the New Balance Nationals as a senior...finished seventh at the state meet and was a three-time conference podium finisher in the event...conference champion and 10th at the state meet in the long jump this past outdoor season...also finished second in the region and third in the conference indoors...picked up the triple jump late in his collegiate career, but did finish in the top-11 in his conference on two occasions...finished seventh in the conference in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior.
