TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN – Veteran returnee to the offensive backfield...will help the depth situation at running back…has been both a starter and reserve...looking to regain form when he was the 2016 season opener starter at RB before having his season curtailed by injury...will wear no. 3 jersey this year – his third number assignment since matriculating in 2015...scored on a two-yard run in the final spring scrimmage.
2017 – Played in seven games and made one start against The Citadel...had most active game versus Catawba when he scored on a 26-yard run...lettered for the second time.
2016 – Started the season off with a spark and led VMI in rushing in season opener at Akron with 62 yards on 21 carries with a one-yard TD run for VMI’s first touchdown of the year...accounted for 180 all-purpose yards vs. Akron as he caught eight passes for 123 yards…suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter the following week at Morehead State and did not return to action the rest of the year.
2015 – Did not play in the first four games but was pressed into service at midseason with injuries at running back…made his senior debut against Bucknell in week 5...finished the season third on the team in rushing with 165 yards on 54 carries...rushed for a season-high 51 yards on 16 carries with a long of 25 against The Citadel…also caught eight passes for 46 yards on the season including an 11-yard scoring grab in the Mercer game...rushed for 41 yards on 14 carries against Samford...also saw action on special teams and returned four kicks for 59 yards...lettered for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL - Three-year, two-way starter at Brookville...had over 2,000 all-purpose yards as a senior RB...First Team All-District, Conference and Area...top-10 finalist for ABC 13 Football Friday POTY...had over 1,000 yards rushing and 15 TD's as a junior...was the indoor conference champion in the high jump, the outdoor champ in the 300-meter hurdles and finished with all-conference laurels in four other events...played four sports at the varsity level
