LEXINGTON, Va. – Heather Magill set a new school record in 1-meter diving and was one of four Keydets to win two individual events, pacing the VMI women's swimming and diving team to a 143-73 win over Hollins University Tuesday evening at Clark King Pool on VMI Post.

Magill's score of 265.65 bested the mark that she set against Howard just three days ago. It was VMI's lone school record on an evening that saw the Keydets dominate, as VMI (1-9) won every event until the evening's 13th, and final, event – the 200 free relay - was exhibitioned. Hollins dropped to 2-5 on the season.

Magill came back later in the evening to take the 3-meter diving unopposed, notching 255.70 points to do so. Three other Keydets claimed multiple wins on the night, including Mackenzie Perkins, who touched the wall first in the 50 (26.71) and 100 free (58.38) races. Meanwhile, Justina Dunne won the 100 back (1:04.87) by nearly 10 seconds and was also the victor in the 200 IM (2:22.69).

Ally Van Valen was the final Keydet to win twice, as she followed up her record-breaking performance against Howard on Dec. 1 by claiming wins in the 200 and 500 free, timing in at 2:07.82 and 5:59.30 to do so.

Mia Cunicelli (100 breast – 1:20.54), Caroline Pryor (1000 free – 13:28.72) and Emy Farsakian (100 fly  - 1:12.30) were the other individual winners on the evening, while Amanda Berrios teamed with Dunne, Farsakian and Cunicelli to win the 200 medley relay in 2:02.14.

VMI women's swimming and diving will return to action Jan. 18, facing Limestone in Gaffney, S.C. Action is set to get underway at 5 p.m.
