Wednesday: VMI RHP Adam Lopez vs. VT RHP Patrick Scoggin
The Keydets will start Jonathan Kelley against VCU, which defeated VMI April 10 in Richmond. Kelley appeared last Wednesday against JMU, throwing a career-high 4 2/3 innings and not giving up a run. This will mark Kelley’s first career start.

Following these games, VMI will take nine days away from game action for exams, before returning to action May 11 to open its final Big South series of the season, a three-game set with Charleston Southern at Gray-Minor Stadium.
