CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The 2010 Big South Conference Football Media Day is scheduled for Thursday, July 29 in Charlotte, N.C. Fans can watch portions of the event free of charge on BigSouthSports.com, and VMIKeydets.com will be on hand with periodic updates via the VMISID Twitter page. 

The video streaming portion of the event will be live, and is set to feature interviews with players and coaches, including VMI head coach Sparky Woods and senior defensive lineman Damiso Alexander. While each school's time slot has not been announced, the overall interview process is scheduled for approximately 1:45-3:30 p.m. Each team's head coach and selected player will be interviewed in 10-minute intervals, and fans can submit questions by going to the conference's Facebook and Twitter pages, both of which are linked above.

Those wishing to watch the event can click on the "Watch Event" link above, or access the stream by going to BigSouthSports.com and clicking on the "2010 Football Media Day" banner on the web site's front page.

The League's annual preseason poll, preseason Players of the Year and preseason All-Conference teams will also be announced at Thursday's event. Big South Commissioner Kyle Kallander will also deliver remarks, and all interview segments will be archived and available for viewing on BigSouthSports.com the next day.
