CHARLOTTE, N.C. – VMI’s Hannah Granger is this month’s profile in one of the Big South’s newest features, the “Musco Women’s Spotlight”, done in conjunction with Musco Sports Lighting on the conference's web site, bigsouthsports.com.

Granger comes off a cross country season in which she was undefeated in Big South action, as she claimed the Keydets first individual Big South title in cross country and was named Runner of the Year. During the indoor track season, she has already set a new school record in the 3,000-meters, eclipsing her own mark during the Jan. 22 event held at the Armory in New York City. She now holds eight officially recognized individual VMI records, six of which are track and field marks.

While Granger is not scheduled to compete, a slate of her teammates will return to action Saturday, as they host the VMI Winter Relays at Cormack Field House. Start time is scheduled for noon.
